Die Cutting PETG

PETG: Polyester Terephthalate Glycol or Polyethylene Terephthalate Copolymer

PETG is a clear thermoplastic sheet material commonly used for thermoforming blister packages and trays. With good impact resistance, it is a preferred choice for medical or electronic applications where package validations are required.

Commonly compared to polycarbonate or acrylic, PETG share similar durability characteristics but at a lower cost and can be easily die-cut without the risks of material fracture. Lower costs improve the feasibility and cost studies for high volume thermoformers and/manufacturers.

PDCI offers high speed, high volume contract die cutting services of PETG to many industries as well as contract thermoformers in the country.
